The Sr. Financial Analyst - Operations & Technology Financial Optimization is a key member of the Financial Optimization team. Under the direction of the Director - Operations & Technology Financial Optimization and in partnership with O&T colleagues, Finance, and Human Resources, the Financial Analyst conducts detailed data analytics to support business objectives, resourcing, expense, productivity, and program benefit targets. Using multiple sources of financial, transactional, and resourcing data, the Analyst will assist with the identification of key trends, business opportunities and risks for management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate potential costs, benefits, risks, and returns associated with business opportunities and strategic choices.
- Performs detailed data analytics on resourcing, expenses, and financial results.
- Through analytics and in collaboration with colleagues, identify process improvements across the organization that support qualitative and quantitative decisions.
- Assess and communicate risk, when identified.
- Collaborate with FP&A team to meet business objectives.
- Support the planning and financial processes.
- Through analytics identify productivity and expense management opportunities.
- Track productivity, growth, and optimizing of capital.
- As appropriate, analyze financial impacts of contract changes.
- Participate in review and challenge sessions with the Business, Programs, and Finance
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 6 - 10 years of financial analysis experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of controls and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail
- Ability to complete assignments within required deadlines.
- Effective inter-personal and written/verbal communication skills.
