- Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Determines creative design approaches and parameters.
- Analyzes equipment to equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
- Also includes Analog, Mixed Signal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.

**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications,**
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related STEM field or equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.
- 2+ Years of Experience in an Engineering position.
- Intermediate to advanced English Level.
- Must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred qualifications,**
- At least 2 years of experience in Test development and execution using lab equipment for analog, mixed signal circuit characterization and debug.
- At least 2 years of experience in Background and knowledge in hardware architecture analog, mixed signal design and implementation.
- At least 2 years of experience with scripting languages with emphasis on python.
- Simulation and validation experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog and/or System Verilog.
- Product engineering or test content development.
- Knowledge of IO protocols specs DFT architectures and design PCI Express USB3 DDR etc.
- Evaluation and validation of analog, mixed signal and DFT circuits including concepts such as timing jitter margining squelch equalization.
- Knowledgeable in statistical data analysis using platforms such as JMP.
- Silicon debug and characterization of new products including working with platform and system level validation teams to identify and close silicon issues.
- Familiarity with high frequency signal integrity concepts using frequency domain Sparameter and time domain metrics.
- Experience with using software tools to analyze PCB physical layout and make recommendations on PCB design.
- 1 year experience in DFTDFD hardware testing methods and tools.
