We are seeking an **AppOps Engineer** **to join our team!
**Job Summary**
The AppOps Engineer is a member of the Identity Governance (IdG) AppOps Engineering team. In this role the AppOps engineer will work in concert with members of IdG AppOps, Development, QE, and closely partner with Customer Support.
The Application Operations (AppOps) team is responsible for maintaining engineering level knowledge of the Identity Governance product for the purpose of providing escalation support to our internal Support team and our customers. This includes diagnosing complex technical issues, and identifying potential fixes and improvements to the products, providing customer resolution through those fixes or workarounds, and - where possible - engineering fixes and contributing them to the product code base.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Improve product quality and performance.
- Provide Engineering escalation support for Imprivata's support organization.
- Interact with customers as required to provide support and resolution to customer escalations.
- Work with the Development and QE teams to identify and document bugs and improvements and develop resolutions.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles/documentation for use by internal support and development organizations.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or in a related discipline.
- Ability to excel in small-group work environments with team-related goals.
- Coding skills in Java, C++, Go or another statically typed language for building highly performant services.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to provide after-hours support coverage on a rotation schedule.
