**Your role at Baxter**

At Baxter, we are building an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We are implementing a program which will standardize processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships and improve opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

This position at Baxter will be part of a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and acts as an extension of the Medication Delivery & Therapies business teams. This role interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team as well as in-country finance and business partners within the Clusters, Americas Region and Global FP&A.

This position will support monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes. annual budgeting and the long-range plan. In addition, it will support value-added business analytics, process improvement projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

**What you'll be doing**
- Coordinate closely with local business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets, and historical results.
- Load budget and forecast adjustments into system for your respective businesses.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation.
- Deliver a comprehensive monthly reporting package for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost center owners, Cash Flow and Managed Capital Base
- Partner with FP&A Regional, Local, and corporate resources within commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, drive and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate escalation / identification of issues and advise Finance leadership of potential business and / or operational risks.
- Perform strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision making and business support.
- Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed.
- Support Finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and / or strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies)

**What you'll bring**
- Excellent spoken and written English (C1 or up)
- Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 5 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- Fully bilingual (English / Spanish) as a requirement.
- Strong Power Point and Excel skills
- Excellent Communications and leadership skills
- Highly motivated individual looking to continuously deliver and exceed.
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment.
- Ability to work well under time constraints and/or pressure.
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to multi-task with a strong sense for prioritization
- Strong customer service focus
- Team player
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of systems such as Concur, JD Edwards, HFM.
