**Key Responsibilities**:
- Act as the technical SME on all payroll-related matters, owning the resolution of complex issues and providing expert guidance.
- Identify process improvements within the payroll domain for enhancement and implementing changes to streamline operations.
- Serve as an SME for the team, offering deep insights into legislative rules, regulations, and garnishment processing to ensure accurate employee payment.
- Collaborate closely with the Payroll Supervisor to align process improvements with the broader strategic goals of the payroll department.
**Qualifications**
- 6 years of experience in payroll processing, with a proven track record as a payroll expert, particularly within multinational or corporate environments.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Oracle or similar payroll systems, showcasing a higher level of technical expertise.
- Strong command of local labor and tax laws & regulations, with a deeper understanding of complex payroll issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Proven track record in payroll processing and process improvement
