**About the job Senior Software Engineer / DevOps**:
**Required Qualifications**
- Full stack developer
- Python developer must have
- A solid understanding of object-oriented programing (OOP) concepts and design patterns
- Proven track record of scaling projects using Python and Google Clouds suite of products
- Knowledgeable in setting up cloud infrastructure and comfortable creating and deploying Docker containers
- Demonstrated applied technical knowledge in Git and Continuous Integration/Deployment tooling
- Practical experience architecting, implementing, and managing SQL and NOSQL databases in physical, virtual and cloud environments.
- Good knowledge of ETL processes and creating data pipelines, common data formats, regular expressions
- Hands-on Python experience working with multiple databases.
i.e., MySQL, Redshift.
- Knowledge of SQL and Redshift to extract or manipulate data
- Experience writing reports with data stored in Oracle, Redshift and SQL Server databases
- Accustomed to working in an Agile development environment with external teams
- Experience in deploying scalable data projects on the cloud
- Expertise in parsing CSV, JSON, XML and similar file formats to cleanse/scrub data fields
- Basic knowledge of Linux on a user-level.
- Experience with development best practices and toolchains.
**Desired Q**ualifications**
- Start-up experience within a company and/or as an entrepreneur
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with Domo is a plus.
- Expertise in using Big Query or similar technologies
- Masters degree in Computer Science
- Comfortable communicating with non-technical team members
