**Responsibilities**
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors
- Reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Conducting audits and reconciling accounts to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately
- Preparing reports for management regarding financial status of the company and identifying issues that may require attention
- Ensuring that payments are made on time by monitoring cash flow and making advance payments when necessary
- Preparing reports and maintaining records on financial transactions in order to track income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other measures of financial performance
- Coordinating with external auditors and accountants to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conducting audits to ensure accounting records accurately reflect financial transactions
- Calculating interest rates on loans or bonds using complex formulas such as the yield curve method, and ensuring that interest payments are made on time
- Managing accounts receivable by following up with delinquent customers for payment on their rent
- Supervise and train accounting staff
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 10+ years proven accounting experience
- Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA
- Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
- Exemplary history of financial project management
- Experience with real estate accounting and property management software consider a plus
**Salary**: $12.00-15.00 USD per hour
