We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with experience in WordPress to join our team!
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the user-facing components of our website and ensuring a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with our team of designers and developers to develop and maintain our WordPress-based websites.
**What You Will Do**:
- Design, develop, and maintain user-facing web interfaces
- Write well-designed, testable, reusable and efficient code
- Produce detailed specifications and write process documentation
- Contribute in improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, debugging, and developing standard operating procedures
- Cooperate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, and formulate plans to achieve them
- Adhere to industry best practices for front-end development
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical responses to other teams
**What You Have Done**:
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- React (nice to have)
- Knowledge of backend programming (PHP, MySQL)
- Proper use of GitLab/GitHub repositories
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles
- A clear understanding of SEO and best practices
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
