**Role Overview**:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be an integral part of our testing team, contributing to the implementation and enhancement of testing standards across our platforms. We are currently running PHP (YII) and React infrastructures, and you will work on reimagining and improving our testing suite for each framework, covering unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the team to redevelop and enhance testing suites for PHP (YII) and React platforms.
- Contribute to the creation, documentation, and execution of unit, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Assist in ensuring that testing best practices and policies are followed by development and testing teams.
- Work closely with the SaaS Manager and senior team members to understand and implement testing standards.
- Participate in peer reviews and follow established testing guidelines.
- Support benchmarking initiatives for continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Monitor threshold coverage reporting to help achieve comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for testing processes.
**Qualifications**:
- A strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
- Basic understanding of PHP and JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Eagerness to adhere to testing best practices and policies.
- Some experience with testing, including unit testing, integration testing, or end-to-end testing is a plus.
- Interest in cross-browser testing (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- Desire to learn about threshold coverage reporting and its significance in testing.
- An interest in Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Willingness to engage in technical documentation tasks.
**Nice-to-Haves**:
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in exploring security testing techniques, such as white-source scanning and cross-site scripting (XXS) testing.
