Intel's Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) team is chartered with building and maintaining customer trust through unparalleled security, privacy and assurance of Intel products. This team drives security and assurance governance, identifies emerging threats, secures existing products through mitigations, and defines and initiates future security innovations for Intel products.
The Intel Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is a key component of the IPAS charter and is responsible for managing the identification, assessment and disposition of risks associated with security vulnerabilities affecting Intel products. The team comprised of technically resilient and dynamic individuals that share a passion for product security and can operate calmly and systematically under chaotic conditions.
Core job responsibilities include:
- Ensures code and testing follow Intel security coding guidelines and Intel security practices.
- Provides engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and perform ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security and troubleshoot and debug issues that arise including the development of reference security platform software.
- Implements, tests, and operates advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture.
- Proven ability of successful and timely delivery of product milestones.
- Excellent oral and written communication and people skills.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in software development experience, including:
- Translating stakeholder requirements into deployed solutions
- Coding and scripting skills in Python and / or JavaScript.
Advanced English level
Permanent right to work in Costa Rica
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and proficiency with ServiceNow development and platform management is strongly preferred.
- Experience using and developing repositories in Github.
- Experience in web technologies - HTML or XML and API integrations with other systems. Apigee experience a plus.
- Experience with integration/configuration of SAML, SSO and other identity access tools.
- Technical program management experience including familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to support customer engagement and needs.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Database experience with MariaDb, POSTGRES, MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL.
- Experience in reporting dashboard dashboard creation, modification, and maintenance to serve business objectives.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
