Intel's Product Assurance and Security (IPAS) team is chartered with building and maintaining customer trust through unparalleled security, privacy and assurance of Intel products. This team drives security and assurance governance, identifies emerging threats, secures existing products through mitigations, and defines and initiates future security innovations for Intel products.
The Intel Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is a key component of the IPAS charter and is responsible for managing the identification, assessment and disposition of risks associated with security vulnerabilities affecting Intel products. The team comprised of technically resilient and dynamic individuals that share a passion for product security and can operate calmly and systematically under chaotic conditions.
Core job responsibilities include:
- As a member of PSIRT you will evaluate technical aspects of security vulnerabilities and shepherd the Intel product teams through the PSIRT process.
- Working across the company you will leverage your organization skills, technical acumen, and communication skills to advise product teams on the impact of security vulnerabilities and help them establish the best course of action to remediate the vulnerabilities affecting Intel products.
- You will also contribute to the transformation of Intel PSIRT into a world class industry recognized model of excellence and efficiency.
- Drive processes and systems to support the success of Intel's product security response capability.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and drive action with varied stakeholders across the corporation.
- Proven ability to execute according to established processes and procedures.
- Ability to achieve objectives working with others across teams and organizations.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum qualifications**:
Bachelor or a Master degree in a STEM field discipline with a minimum of two years of experience or equivalent certifications
2+ years of experience in the following:
Technical background in software as a service, cloud, and/or container software deployment models and security
High proficiency in English
**Preferred qualifications**:
Security certifications like CEH, CISSP, GIAC, GCIA, SANS. etc.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
