**Product Marketing Specialist**
**Responsibilities**:
- Own the Product Launch process and lead overarching product marketing and sales strategies by working closely with internal teams to align strategies to team goals.
- Own the implementation, testing, and monitoring of pricing strategies to increase market share and prevent the erosion of profits.
- Own the documentation of Product knowledge that furthers the ability of internal stakeholders to better understand, market and sell products.
- Own competitive intelligence through the creation and documentation of unique marketing and selling propositions across customer experience, pricing and promotions, course and product catalog by industry for competitors.
- Own and collaborate on the marketing plan for product by brand. Providing specific strategies on shelf-space and niche domain marketing to ensure the optimization of advertising across mediums. This includes the cooperative teamwork necessary to achieve intended results.
- Act as the Product Marketing Specialist for cross-functional marketing team projects involving major customer experience or product impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholder teams to understand needs and priorities related to acquisitions and ongoing business operations.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies and coordinate deliverables from teams outside of Product Marketing.
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure their involvement and buy in on major business decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide regular updates on resource allocation, utilization, and performance to senior management.
- Coordinate quality assurance processes, including defining quality criteria, conducting reviews, and implementing improvement processes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cross-functional project management, product management, product marketing or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a solid understanding of the intersections between waterfall and agile management philosophies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, and Jira.
- Executive level presentation and reporting skills required.
- Ability to effectively prioritize deliverables and make informed decisions considering timelines and limited resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic lookup and pivot table functions.
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in the e-learning or ed-tech industry is a plus.
