Process Engineers develop and sustain such processes as diffusion, etching, plating, lithographic printing, thin film deposition in semiconductor fab manufacturing operations.
**The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to**:
- Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations.
- As module owner, conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line.
- Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products.
- Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
- Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output.
- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
- Demonstrated discipline attentiveness to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision.
- Capable of handling multiple assignments in a timely manner while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and influencing skills.
- Knowledge on structured Problem-Solving Methodologies.
**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's or Licentiate Degree in Mechatronic, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Electro Mechanic or related field
- 3 years of experience in High Volume Manufacturing environment and/or equipment maintenance.
- Intermediate knowledge in statistics and ability for data analysis method using tools such as JMP and Excel.
- High
- Intermediate English Level.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Computer Science knowledge using language such as SQL, Pathfinder, Python, others.
- Knowledge of microprocessor test and finish equipment and process.
- LEAN and Six Sigma.
- Power BI, SQL pathfinder.
