We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a **Pre-Onboarding Specialist (software Marketplace)
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as a primary point of contact for vendors during the pre-onboarding process.
- Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, sales representatives, and legal teams.
- Review and explain vendor contracts, agreements, and legal clauses in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address vendor concerns and inquiries.
- Provide support to the sales team by clarifying the marketplace model and value proposition during sales pitches.
- Maintain a deep understanding of US tax regulations as they pertain to vendor onboarding.
- Manage and utilize pre-onboarding tools effectively, including SFDC, G-Suite, Orbitera, GCLM, and MVA Click to Deploy.
**High-Level Activities**:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors throughout the pre-onboarding process.
- Streamline the onboarding process by anticipating and resolving vendor issues proactively.
- Contribute to the success of the sales team by ensuring vendors understand the marketplace opportunity.
- Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory changes impacting vendor onboarding.
- Continuously improve pre-onboarding procedures and tools for efficiency and effectiveness.
**Qualifications/Skills required**:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in vendor management, customer support, or a related field.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, building strong relationships, and effectively navigating complex situations.
- Strong understanding of contracting principles and legal terminology.
- Working knowledge of US tax regulations relevant to vendor onboarding.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
