**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
The Planning and Reporting Analyst needs to have a great analytical skill and challenge the status quo. With a thorough understanding of core controllership processes, the Planning and Reporting Analyst is responsible to support United States end market in their queries and strengthen the control environment and develop new initiative across the Planning & Reporting function for the United States Market. The role will combine good accounting knowledge with communication skills and solid forecast and planning knowledge.
This role is part of DBS - GBS Finance.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Budgeting on a monthly basis preparation and support end market with Business Planning Consolidation (BPC) inputs.
- Perform a comprehensive analysis of variances between monthly forecasts to identify and explain deviations. Develop clear and concise commentary to substantiate requested budget adjustments.
- Business Planning Consolidation backstage maintenance.
- Master Data creation/changes, monitor Master data accuracy.
- Monitor and analyse actuals. Review and analyse accruals, reclassifications, and other adjustments, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
- Analysis of variances between actual expenses and forecasted expenditure, providing well-substantiated justifications for deviations. Identify potential improvements within both the expense recording process and the forecasting methodology.
- Oversee accuracy and completeness, collaborate to resolve discrepancies, and report key findings on the intercompany recharges process.
- Serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders, providing them with insightful and timely financial information tailored to their needs.
- SharePoint maintenance.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in a multinational company in FP&A, Accounting, or any other related area.
- Previous experience in Planning & Reporting with Business Planning Consolidations (BPC) knowledge.
- Proficient English level, verbal, and writing (B2+/C1).
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook).
- A flexible and adaptable individual to work with various levels of employees and leaders (up to and including executives).
- Ability to work in demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
