The Intel Software and Advanced Technology Group's Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) delivers innovative, high quality software that differentiates Intel products and maximizes customer value.
The MTC AI and Developer Tools and Runtimes team is part of the global Intel-Architecture and Software Group. We optimize Microsoft's VC++ and.NET Frameworks to the latest Intel CPUs and based on our performance analysis, we recommend the HW architecture teams regarding HW improvements. Our SW work translates into faster and more efficient code execution on Intel XPUs for our customers running on Edge, Client, Server, and Cloud in Microsoft ecosystem.
In this role you will perform analysis to characterize complex workloads and identify performance and power optimizations opportunities in VC++ and.NET software and have an opportunity to make recommendations to help define next gen architecture from a software standpoint.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum qualifications:
- MS or PhD graduate at Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Electrical Engineering with Software background, BS with relevant experience will be considered too)
- 4+ years of Industry experience
- 4+ years of experience developing high quality code in C/C++, Python, C#/Java or similar programming language
- Intermediate to Advanced English level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in modern CPU, GPU architectures, runtimes, compiler code generation, multi-threading
- Software optimization, benchmarking, compiler, runtimes and AL/ML background
- Knowledge of Deep Learning Runtimes and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX Runtime
- Knowledge of parallel computing and experience with parallel computing libraries/frameworks like OpenCL, CUDA
- Experience with performance libraries like MKL

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
