Help support and enhance our financial systems, with a focus on Workday and Adaptive. The position requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, coupled with technical expertise in Workday and Adaptive.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business users to identify and understand their system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Configure, customize and maintain Workday and Adaptive systems to meet the evolving needs of the finance department.
- Support finance and accounting end-users by troubleshooting system issues, providing guidance, and conducting user training as needed.
- Conduct system testing and collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth integration and data flow between Workday, Adaptive, and other financial systems.
- Collaborate with IT to implement system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Workday, Adaptive, and other finance-related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function, leveraging the capabilities of Workday and Adaptive.
- Assist in data analysis and reporting initiatives, leveraging Workday and Adaptive tools to generate actionable insights for finance and business stakeholders.
- Maintain system documentation, including process flows, user guides, and configuration details.
**Requirements**:
- 5-7+ years of experience in both accounting and accounting/finance systems would be necessary for this role. This individual should be strong in core accounting concepts, but also understand and have experience with accounting/finance systems, specifically Workday and Adaptive, as this individual will need to understand technical accounting requirements and communicate those needs back to system owners (i.e., IT folks).
- High Proficiency in English level.
- Some sort of professional designation (CPA, CMA, CPA/CMA-equivalent) would be a significant plus.
