We're searching for a
**Corporate Sr. Accountant Team Captain (TC). **The Corp Sr Accountant TC position reports to the Manager, Cost Accounting. The position performs various month end close and accounting tasks on a daily and monthly basis, including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, reports, audit requests. This position will also oversee the policy compliance with local and HQ regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and approve medium to high complexity monthly journal entries
- Reviews monthly reconciliation of low to medium complexity GL accounts in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Researches variances and prepares adjustments. Ensures that all reconciling items are researched and resolved on time.
- Generate and analyze inventory quantity & valuation reports and standard cost review
- Perform period end financial close activities and meet all related deadlines
- Lead physical inventory count process with domestic and international warehouse members
- Update NetSuite inter-month and month end count inventory variances
- Support components or portions of the R2R responsibilities inclusive of Intercompany, General Ledger, Reconciliations, Month End Close, Financial Reporting, Controls & Compliance, and US GAAP Ledger reporting
- Create new part numbers for raw materials and finished goods as required and manage existing part number list. Review month end inventory master file
- Participate in cross-functional teams (Marketing, International, Procurement, & Supply Chain ) to resolve inventory related issues
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Ensure customer needs and relationships are fulfilled and enhanced through proactive involvement and interaction
- Build relationships with the different cross company's departments
- Responsible for the management of the policies and compliance with Statutory regulations
- Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and metrics in a timely manner to ensure the availability of information for management review.
- Support the internal and external audit process
- Train new team members on cost accounting process, and serve as mentor
- Serve as local expert on cost accounting closing and control processes, cross train within cost accounting team
- Support international team with closing and audit activities
- Ability/flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and technical level.
