Costa Rica Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) mission is to become an essential partner to the finance area through End-to-End process ownership and flawless execution by leveraging the best talent in order to drive value and productivity through innovation and standard practices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the US Performance Management team within Corporate FP&A
- Prepare presentations and analyses for the team supporting the Head of EDS, Head of FP&A, CFO, IR, Strategy and CEO
- Gain an in depth understanding of each business line at Citi and their corresponding Revenue drivers and metrics
- Create impactful visuals that easily explain key drivers and metrics to the executive management team
- Analyze trends, write variance commentary, and identify data anomalies
- Assist in large scale transformation efforts across Global FP&A i.e. OneStream, Artificial Intelligence, Tableau, etc.
- Drive standardization of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency
- Establish partnership with Mumbai and other locations to develop analytics that drive informed decision making
- Utilize technical skill set to streamline reporting and processes
- Partner with peers across business finance teams to obtain data and commentary on variance drivers
**Knowledge/ Work Experience Requirements**:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineer or a related field with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience with more than 4 years of Planning and Analysis experience
- Post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is desired
- Understanding of Banking is preferred but not essential. Finance products and markets knowledge a plus
- Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Bilingual: English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required. VBA, Power BI and Tableau knowledge is a plus
