We are seeking an **Automation Engineer II **to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based in Costa Rica.
**Job Summary**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build test automation and monitoring solutions.
- Work in partnership with peer engineers to create and execute test for all aspects of the product including performance, scalability, and load testing
- A passion for all aspects of testing and automation including functional, load and performance, and failure mode testing
- Review and reproduce support tickets and offer config changes to remediate where possible
- Employ metrics for monitoring results and progress
- Peer reviews of Test Plans and Test Cases
**Required Qualifications**
- Experience in Python, Selenium and Pytest
- Experience in docker and selenium grid is a plus
- Experience with testing in and managing virtual environments (ex: VMware, Citrix)
- Working knowledge on RDBMS - MS SQLServer, PostgreSQL, My SQL, ORACLE
- Can work independently as well as in a team environment with moderate supervision from manager or functional Lead
- Experience working in an Agile (preferably Scrum) environment
- Experience in test management tools such as X-ray, practitest
