This position is responsible for driving all our rebate processes for close and ensuring that we have the right controls to recognize our rebate liability correctly. This position will partner with the Americas Ops rebates managers to ensure that we have the right processes and will work to standardize rebates processes and drive any controls changes.

**For Rebates Job Description**:
Senior analyst within Worldwide Revenue organization supporting Rebates AMR Team.

Rebates Team support Contra Revenue controls for all of AMR hosted accounts. The position provides opportunities to build comprehensive financial systems experience, business partnership and rebate automation skillsets.

**The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Independently and proactively analyzes financial information and develops solutions to complex problems.
- Consistently utilizes and applies advanced financial modeling, accounting, business and risk management skills.
- Provides varying levels of advice and financial information to operational business groups or factories to drive the business decision making process.
- Supports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization.
- Provides information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, budgeting and planning, pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
- Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting.
- Plans and schedules own work to ensure the timely completion of interrelated to independent tasks and projects with very limited direction.
- Regularly applies strategies and concepts and draws on a cumulative knowledge base from previous experiences to independently execute an appropriate course of action.
- Develops solutions to a broad mix of moderate to complex business challenges.
- Inadequacies and erroneous decisions can cause considerable impact to business plans and results as well as project objectives and scheduling of work within own and other organizations.
- Interprets information for and negotiates with clients and customers both internal and external to the organization.
- Provides input to management including department heads, operational managers, other departments, and senior management.
- Responsible for providing financial support to larger or more profitable departments and accounts.
- Driving SOX Controls processes to recognize rebate liability and supports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends.
- This position will partner with the Americas Ops rebates analyst/managers, internal and external auditors to ensure financial statements reasonability assurance based on reporting standards and corporate policies.
- This position will also work with global finance rebate analyst to drive worldwide standardization and improvements to our processes.
- This position will require to plan and schedule own work to ensure the timely completion of interrelated to independent tasks and projects with very limited direction.
- Interprets information for and negotiates with stakeholders and customers both internal and external to the organization.
- Provides input to management including department heads, operational managers, other departments, and senior management.
- Independ and proactive, attention to detail, system aptitude, influential and deals well with ambiguity.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Work independently and collaborate across functional, geographies to achieve mutual results.
- Fast learner with positive attitude

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor, Licenciatura or Master degree in accounting.
- +5 years of Accounting or Audit and Control experience
- Intermediate English level.
- Must have a permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in creating business intelligence analytics.
- MBA
