About the Job: Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity for a Valuation Specialist/Appraiser in our Valuation Department.
The Valuation Department is responsible for the management of commercial and residential appraisals, BPO's, AVMs and internal QC review.
This position collects, analyzes, and reports appraisal related market data through internal and outside sources.
This position will require significant research skills and familiarity with services like Costar, LoopNet, and DataTree are a plus.
Responsibilities: Research local real estate markets and identify and confirm sales and rental data Assist appraisers with aspects of completing valuation assignments Reviewing inspection reports to ensure the quality of report and photos Point of contact for the Valuation department regarding report issues and/or missing documentation Manage assistant(s) to insure proper workflow The ability to self-identity, report, manage and resolve critical issues Meeting critical deadlines and ensuring adherence with established production and quality standards and goals.
Review internal and external valuations of small to medium-sized businesses throughout the US.
