As a Travel & Expense Representative II at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of our accounting processes. This position involves operational activities, execution in systems and/or processes that are routine. It may require training but does not require a complex level of independent work, judgment, and/or decision-making. It performs basic tasks in the areas of accounting, finance, and customer service for the organization. It generates routine reports, completes forms, and responds to general inquiries as requested.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Provides back-office service to internal clients and analysts: processes documents; builds document follow-up requests for internal customer inquiries; appropriately routes different cases to the appropriate department or person for accurate resolution; retrieves documentation for Internal client requests; and provides leadership team with information on significant issues that arise.
- Gives quality control by reviewing documentation to verify accuracy and compliance by following policies and procedures; adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance; notifies management of quality issues or concerns; and shares process improvement recommendations.
- Completes assigned work and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, internal clients, and other processes partners; identifies priorities, timelines, and expectations; settles and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; adapts and learns from change, challenges, and feedback provided.
- Provides support and fulfills any other requests required by company needs.
- Follow all policies and procedures with a high ethical standard and integrity.
- Applies PPI methodology to propose improvements.
- Provide support and any other request that is required by the company's needs.
**Basic Requirements**
- Bachelor in high school/Technical high school degree related with the position.
- 1 year experience in Shared Service Centers
- B1+ level of English proficiency
- MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel basic.
- Experience in at least one ERP (Concur, Oversight).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
