We are a United States based company seeking a **Travel Division Director of Operations and Development. **We're looking for a motivated, growth-minded individual who is ready to help us take our travel division to the next level.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Align with the company's mission to create an epic customer experience at every touch point
- Create and implement strategies for sales and business growth
- Implement the newest technology offerings to the customer
- Maintain key relationships to retain clients
- Develop new solutions to meet client needs
- Hire, train, and lead a team of corporate and leisure travel agents to ensure an excellent customer experience at every point of contact
- Develop and maintain key performance goals and manage the performance of travel agents
- Improve internal processes for better productivity
- Manage travel division budget and monitor the financial health of the travel division to make recommendations to the executive team
- Respond to high level inquiries, requests, and needs of existing clients
**Skills and Experience**
- Fluency in English
- Ability to develop and execute a sales strategy
- In depth knowledge of the travel industry
- Excellent management skills and experience managing a staff
- Excellent people skills and the ability to build key relationships
- CMS management experience
- Organization and time management skills
- Experience with Apollo/Globalware, Agency Technologies, iBank/Cornerstone, and other travel technologies is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Enthusiasm and excellent communication, both verbal and written
- High integrity, hard-working and a team player
