8 + years relevant work experience in Accounts Payable, Payments, or similar
- Awareness of (international) payment systems and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Experience driving projects and programs
- Experience working externally with banks, and with key internal partners like Treasury
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Program Manager who wants to make a true difference in Global AP Payments.
With a scale and complexity that does not exist at any other company, this person will drive innovative and cutting-edge payment solutions delivery for our growing and diverse global payee population.
The position will make sure that we delight our payees on Day 1 of any program launch.
They will actively work with technology teams, expansion teams, Treasury and other internal & external partners to deliver results.
With an emphasis on an exceptional payee experience and optimal payment solution delivery, the goal of this position will be to pay all payees in the amount, payment method, currency and date they expect.
By providing your customer-centric approach, you will actively participate in Amazon's business growth and optimization of payment offering.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify requirements and create clear business requirements documents for payment initiatives.
- Lead and execute Payment roadmap and business expansion initiatives.
- Track, review and drive corrective actions so that all launches and subsequent AP Payment operations meet or exceed metrics and SLAs.
- Identify process and technology improvements that can be leveraged across regions or globally within AP and help drive implementation.
- Contribute towards Payment expansions related metrics.

This role will be part of a truly global team, and will drive conversations with stakeholders from various parts of the business.
We innovate on behalf of the payee and implement new payment solutions, which provide scalable processes and technology for the business growth and needs.
- Examples of delivering results through operational excellence and process improvement methodology such as six sigma or kaizen
- Experience defining business requirements and helping identify solutions through both process improvement and technology
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements.
- Experience defining KPIs and operational metrics
- Green Belt, Black Belt or Similar Certification
- Knowledge of international payment systems and regulations
