About the Team

The Revenue and Variable Compensation team is responsible for calculating and ensuring timely disbursement of sales commission and bonuses related variable compensation. This is an area of significant growth in volume and complexity requiring processes to be transformed to focus on simplification and compliance. This team will be a key part of building new processes and analytics.

About the Role

Workday is seeking a Sr Manager, Revenue & Variable Compensation to establish a new team in Costa Rica focused on reviewing and ensuring accuracy of information used to calculate variable sales compensation, reporting & analytics, and running variable compensation adjustment processes. This role will lead the Revenue and Variable Compensation team and assist in the day-to-day management activities at the Costa Rica site.

**Responsibilities**:
Revenue & Variable Compensation- Establish and develop a high performing team of Revenue & Variable Compensation professionals at both the manager and individual contributor levels- Hire and develop talent- Manage a team with mix of IC's and a Manager- Manage SLAs and report on performance on regular basis- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Deal Management and Finance teams- Identify process and system improvement areas and work with relevant stakeholders to drive change- Lead enhancements and stabilize input validation processes- Engage and manage the Field inquiry adjustment processes, including reviewing case requests and implementing an escalation process to manage higher risk adjustments

Site Leadership- Real Estate/Workplace Services: ensure the office and working environment is safe, comfortable and conducive to effective working and collaboration so people are motivated to visit the office regularly- IT requirements: ensuring infrastructure, peripherals (keyboards, mice, monitors), printers and virtual meeting technology are available and reliable- Represent the best interests of the employees of Workday Costa Rica in areas related to employee welfare, including organizing local team building and morale-boosting events and activities, to ensure general camaraderie, employee engagement and satisfaction.- Build the local brand for Workday as a marquee employer of choice. This would entail working with P&P, Employee Communications, Talent Acquisition and other groups and could entail attending local events related to hiring and recruiting at educational institutions and other organizations- Promote the company's work in building and fostering a diverse workforce and inclusive working environment that allows everyone to bring their authentic selves to Workday and do the best work of their lives- Promote the growth of Workday Costa Rica with internal functions by highlighting and promoting the skills, talent, accomplishments, and potential of the employees. This will include meeting with various functions to address questions and support establishing additional presence.
