ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Hosting Solutions (DHS) team represents the Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) for cloud infrastructure capabilities, providing foundational public and private cloud services to all business lines, globally across Pfizer. DHS is a high-performing team, focused on delivering secure, scalable, compliant, automated and cost-effective cloud solutions. Working within Digital Hosting Solutions is to be at the cutting edge of cloud technology within the context of the world's leading biopharmaceutical organization, at a time when adoption of these technologies is increasing rapidly.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to focus on analysis and delivering Digital Hosting Services as Automated Solutions. The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding, elaborating, and communicating various persona workflows and requirements to ensure high-impact value for DHS consumers. The role involves working with all DHS Product Areas to understand their domain areas, capture key specifications, and translate them into automated process workflows for the Platform Engineering Team & peer teams to implement.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with EP&S Product and Practice owners to build and refine delivery scope, requirements and launch new products.
- Facilitate launch rehearsals to prove procedures are accurate and that target dates/times are communicated to users and stakeholders.
- Identify Product dependency mapping & sequencing of solutions being added &removed from Products.
- Guide Product owners through crafting their domain capability statements to produce a catalog of solutions.
- Analyze metrics to drive work prioritization with the Product Owner which will show business outcomes value.
- Lead, analyze, document, & communicate the persona requirements to feed as inputs into the Platform Engineering Team.
- Build & maintain diagrams to describe business processes needed to develop Hosting Solutions.
- Manage change in requirements over the Platform product lifecycle with the latest business needs.
- Provide input on design to ensure business needs are met for quality and compliance.
- Identify areas of risk due to dependencies and surface to team leads.
- Establish relationships with customers and members of Project teams. Liaises between the business and technical members of the product teams, ensuring that the team understands the customer needs.
- Secure agreement on the requirements across DHS Product teams.
- Partner with testing teams to ensure all requirements are understood and properly tested.
- Identify risks / impact of changes in requirements and assess how they may affect Business Outcomes.
- For smaller projects, this role will lead as a project manager working with the technical team to ensure project timelines are met, risk & issues are managed and project status communicated to management.
- Participation in pre-project business case development.
- Contribute to strategic planning and identify potential digital improvements for business outcomes.
- Act as an advocate for customers while simultaneously identifying areas of continuous improvement for delivery automated solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in software development and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools including JIRA, Confluence required.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, APIs, Automated Testing, Automated Documentation is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
