- Position purpose:
- If you enjoy working with data and databases, are very experienced with SQL (DB2 a plus) and associated other tools, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.
- You will be involved in project work, security standards, support existing processing and perform a significant amount of analysis. Understanding EDW processing, various types of data storage and retrieval, and how to align requirements with databases are all important.
- The ability to work with a team of diverse individuals is critical.

- Complex SQL: Able to analyze, modify, create, and test complex SQL statements, along with general understanding and use of complex functions.-
- LINUX: Familiar with environment to ensure effectiveness with DB2.-
- DB2 LUW (DPF): A minimum of 3+ years of platform experience (a big plus).- Leadership and Communication_- Build respect and credibility within their team, IS and the business.-

- Must have experience in Linux, DB2, advanced SQL coding.-
- Experienced/familiar with Control-M, MS SQL Server (a plus), Korn shell, Git, Perl, Toad for DB2, Toad for SQL Server, PuTTY.-
- Experienced with testing at all levels (unit, integration, system, performance), testing tools (including automated testing) and debugging tools. Experience with data strategies is a plus.About the role:

- Prepare detailed specifications and/or mapping documents to ensure business rules are captured.-
- Manage data within different environments.-

- Support Production data updates on team rotation.-
- Work with business area customers, other IT teams, and vendors to identify business requirements, test strategies, and test execution.-
- Participate in project planning and development or assume responsibility for a project of limited scope which may include technical leadership.-
- Provide options for and estimates of possible solutions.-
- May be responsible for the completion of small projects or project phases, depending on the level of complexity.-
- May review training strategy, materials, and Standard Operating Procedures.-
- Collaborate with technical partners to ensure Service Levels are met.-
- Provide technical expertise for project and baseline support teams.-
- Provide On Call support for both daytime and after-hours periods.-
- Adhere to security standards in support of PCI compliance.-
