**Job Description**:- ROLE SUMMARY-- The Hosting Platform Product Owner has ultimate accountability for the development of our product strategy and vision. They will work with key stakeholders to define our product roadmap and outcomes inclusive of new development, lifecycle, and continuous improvement. Working with a larger product team composed of technical and process experts, the Hosting Platform Product Owner will be accountable for delivering innovative and secure products to our customers. Finally, the role will be accountable for the budget and P&L of all in scope products.- This position will influence and collaborate with peers, develop, and coach others, and guide the work of colleagues and contractors to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business value.- ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Product Strategy and Vision:- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for technology products related to operating systems, web technology, and container hosting outcomes.- Stay abreast of industry trends, compliance requirements, and technological advancements to drive innovative product solutions that align with business stakeholder needs.- Product Roadmap and Planning:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into a comprehensive product roadmap.- Prioritize features and enhancements based on strategic goals, regulatory compliance, market demands, and business needs inclusive of customer pricing.- Break down complex projects into meaningful product hosting outcomes with measurable results.- Product Development and Execution:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, process experts, compliance, and security experts, to ensure customer outcomes are met.- Provide clear and concise requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.- Continuously monitor progress, mitigate risks, and manage dependencies to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.- Ensure products have defined lifecycles inclusive of end of life planning and technology retirement.- Financial P&L Management:- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the financial aspects of the product including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking revenue and expenses.- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate potential investments, pricing strategies, and cost savings.- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and cost optimization.- Setting the ultimate price of our products to consumers- Stakeholder Management:Communicate product updates, progress, and timelines to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of product direction, value, and outcomes.- Product Simplification and Optimization:- Define and track outcomes and results (OKRs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.- Analyze user feedback, market data, and industry trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements and optimizations.- Ensure that products comply with applicable compliance and audit controls.- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS-- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 7+ years of experience in an enterprise IT setting, preferably one in a highly regulated industry such as banking/financial or healthcare/pharmaceutical.- Excellent communicator, with an ability to influence horizontally and vertically across a large, complex, and matrixed organization. Adept at managing through often difficult and conflicting priorities to identify those outcomes with the greatest value for Pfizer.- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or in a highly regulated environment.- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making- Demonstrated expertise in managing a department-level P&L inclusive of forecasting/budgeting, identifying & prosecuting cost efficiency opportunities, and managing spend through the fiscal period.- Strong general IT knowledge including an understanding of large-scale distributed systems architectures, hosting platform technologies (e.g., operating systems), container technologies, multi-tier architectures, content delivery networks, and disaster recovery planning & failover strategies.- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-- Certified SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager or equivalent certification highly desired- LI#PFEPfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) & Employment EligibilityPfizer is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment
