High School Diploma
- 1 year of experience in procurement, non-profit organizations, purpose-led procurement function or similar
- 1 year of experience and proficiency in project management
- Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 Level).

As a Social Impact Analyst, Volunteering & Donations for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Social Impact (SI) team you will be responsible for supporting the implementing initiatives to drive the GPO Social Impact Strategy in the communities where we and our supplier base operate. This person will need to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders within and outside GPO to drive giving back initiatives (i.e., volunteering & donations).
The role scope includes supporting deployment of GPO Social Impact volunteering strategy to encourage employees and suppliers to do volunteering activities in their local communities, implementing non-inventory items donation mechanisms to local non -profits for idle assets not able to repurpose, identifying, connecting and onboarding local non-profits to partner with, ensuring compliance with due
- diligence mechanism for cash donations, sponsorships and partnerships and tracking and reporting of performance on specific Social Impact KPIs.
The person in this role will need to partner with Amazon Community Impact (ACI), Community Operations (CommOps) and Ops Community Engagement Teams (ComOPs) to support the deployment of GPO Social Impact Strategy globally, including collaboration with non-profit organizations and partnering with local and global suppliers in giving back initiatives to local communities.

Key job responsibilities
- Create a procurement culture of giving back awareness and participation for procurement Amazonians and suppliers to engage meaningfully in their communities
- Partner with Amazon Community Impact team (ACI) and Ops Community Engagement (OpsCE) local teams for the deployment of volunteering initiatives globally.
- Identify, contact and onboard local non-profits as GPO partners in GiveHub / Goodera platforms.
- Implement the GPO non-inventory idle assets donations strategy and ensure compliance with non-inventory idle assets donations policies.
- Deploy due-diligence mechanisms to ensure that GPO cash donations, sponsorships and partnerships are in compliance with Amazon and GPO Policies.
- Leverage Amazon Community Sentiment Analysis Index, to identify local community specific interests, needs and/or potential risks for supply chain,
- Partner with the CommOps Amazon Local Good Program to provide pro-bono logistics services to suppliers donating items to local non-profits.
- Track, report and communicate GPO Social Impact initiatives at global level

San Jose, CRI
- Bachelor Degree or Masters in Social Impact, Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Impact or Sustainable Development
- Outstanding communications skills - written and verbal
