**Role**:
Splunk's SEO Team is looking for an **SEO Coordinator **to join the SEO team within our Digital Marketing organization. As an SEO Coordinator, you will work closely with our team of experienced Growth Marketers to help drive our SEO initiatives focused on creating and maintaining **the best content on the web**, designed to attract search visitors to our website.
In this role, you will assist in publishing using our website's content management system, ensuring that our team's digital content is up-to-date, accurate, and effectively managed. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for digital content and web technologies.
You will be primarily responsible for using our CMS (content management system) to publish new content, make edits to existing content, and QA your work after publishing. You will help maintain our content calendar and content tracking system. You will sometimes be responsible for QAing and fixing content published by others within our CMS. Typically, our SEO Team and Subject Matter Experts write content and will provide you the changes needed on existing pages - you will take action on these changes, making the new page live for the World to find.
As you grow in the role, you will be able to help us identify new optimization and content opportunities and assist in reporting and analysis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take web-ready content (article, images, supporting assets) and publish using our CMS, Adobe Experience Manager.
- Perform edits as directed across our library of hundreds of existing pieces of web content.
- Perform QA checks on existing content as well as on all content you publish. This involves tasks like finding and fixing broken links, images, headings, tables, spacing, and other formatting issues.
- Identify and suggest process improvements and optimization opportunities to improve our publishing workflow and search engine rankings.
- Help to maintain our content publishing calendar and content tracking system.
- Assist in reporting and analysis of our content publishing activities and traffic trends.
- Partner with other marketing teams as needed to help them publish or edit content.
**Requirements**:
- Associate degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, IT, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a digital content, web operations, or similar role.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) and SEO principles. Familiarity working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
- Keen eye for detail, grammar, spelling errors, formatting issues, etc.
- Not required but nice to have: Interested in research, writing, editing, SEO strategy, IT topics - possibly contributing as a content creator.
