An important and internationally recognized company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer, trained to:
• The Global IT Cybersecurity - Senior Technical Writer is responsible for creating, editing, reviewing, and presenting comprehensive documentation related to our data security tools, policies, user communication, and training.
• You will work closely with our cyber security experts to ensure that all documentation meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and relevance. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' understanding and utilization of our data security tools
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data security tools, processes, training, and services, including user guides, manuals, policy documents, and SOPs
• Collaborate with cyber security engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for documentation
• Review and edit technical documents for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and consistency
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language for various audiences including senior level managers
• Ensure technical documentation is up-to-date with the latest product releases and security guidelines
• Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking, to meet deadlines
• Present documentation in various formats, such as text documents, slideshows, and infographics
Role requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong focus on cyber security or related technology fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to understand and document complex technical concepts and processes
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices
Good to have:
• Advanced certifications in technical writing (e.g., Certified Technical Professional Writer)
• Experience with data security or data loss prevention
• Proven track record of improving user engagement through documentation
