**Role Summary**
The Costa Rica FP&A Team is seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to support the North America Consumer Information Services (CIS), to be responsible for all financial deliverables such as month end close, revenue forecasting, regular monitoring of business performance metrics and other ad hoc analysis. This role will primarily be responsible for partnering closely with cross-functional business leaders, especially Sales and Product. There will also be collaboration with Experian North America Corporate Finance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute the monthly close, reconciliations, and variance analyses, including journal entry preparation as needed.
- Weekly, monthly revenue forecast and annual budget (as needed), partnering with business and corporate FP&A functions.
- Product level GL support and revenue reporting
- Variable cost forecasting, reconciliations, and monthly close entries
- Contribute to the monthly financial & metric reporting package, creating content as detected through examination of revenue trends and potential revenue drivers, and identifying additional relevant statistical measurements which will be presented to senior management.
- Drive efficiencies/process improvement through Robotics Process Automation and LEAN leveraging new data sources and BI.
- Drive efficiencies and increasing quality through process automation and reduced cycle times.
- Special projects & financial modelling, as assigned.
- Regular reporting and monitoring of key performance metrics versus targets.
- Financial modelling of future performance based on historic trends and future business plans.
- Identify further key performance metrics to provide insight and work with analytics team to develop the required reporting.
- Deliver on ad hoc requests from different functions within the business or regional/global leadership.
- Provide information/inputs for monthly financial packages to management.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and taking on a range of miscellaneous finance team responsibilities.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across financial reporting and analysis models.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
- Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related discipline.
- Master's in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master's degree considered as a plus.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Finance at a business unit level.
- Experience in commercial finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
- Strong competence in developing financial models for forecasting and business scenario evaluation.
- Ability to interpret financial data from large data sets, verify the accuracy and draw out the key highlights.
- Ability to effectively balance detail orientation while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong skills with business intelligence tools and financial systems. Expert level skills in Excel required. Experience with Tableau, Oracle, and Hyperion a plus.
- Proactive and independent, with proven record of taking the initiative, driving processes end-to-end and executing continuous improvement.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
