Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe Costa Rica FP&A Team is seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to support the North America Automotive business unit with all financial deliverables such as month end close responsibilities, revenue and cost forecasting, regular monitoring of business performance metrics and other ad hoc analysis. This role will primarily be responsible for providing business partner support internally within the Automotive Business unit. There will also be collaboration with Finance teams within North American Corporate Experian.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the monthly close, reconciliations, and variance analyses, including journal entry preparation as needed.Weekly, monthly revenue forecast and annual budget (as needed), partnering with business and corporate FP&A functions.Product level GL support and revenue reporting.Financial systems hierarchy and revenue management including product mapping, client hierarchy and Sales org updates and revenue transfer across systems (SATURN, Showcase/Finance Tools).Royalties forecasting, reconciliations, and monthly close entries.Non labor cost analysis, forecasting and reconciliation support as needed.Solid understanding of the various subsystems that flow into the GL, and chart of account structure. Must be able to understand and draw conclusions from process flows initiating in the contract/billing process through to the various ledgers and ultimately to financial reporting.Financial holds/write off's reviews of outstanding receivables.Contribute to the monthly financial & metric reporting package, creating content as detected through examination of revenue trends and potential revenue drivers, and identifying additional relevant statistical measurements which will be presented to senior management.Prepare selected Balance Sheet account reconciliations, as needed.Assist auditors in resolving questions and performing research as needed.Drive efficiencies/process improvement through Robotics Process Automation and LEAN leveraging new data sources and BI.Deliver ad hoc requests from different functions within the business or regional/global leadership.Serve as a back-up for monthly routine team deliverables.Comfortable multi-tasking and taking on a range of miscellaneous finance team responsibilities.Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related disciplines.Advanced English level.3+ years of progressive experience in Finance at a business unit level.Experience in finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.Ability to interpret financial data from large data sets, verify the accuracy and draw out the key highlights.Ability to effectively balance detail orientation while maintaining accuracy.Strong skills with business intelligence tools and financial systems. Expert level skills in Excel. Proactive and independent, with proven record of taking the initiative, driving processes end-to-end and executing continuous improvement.Highly motivated, results-driven finance professional.Intellectual curiosity, proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to produce clear, actionable business solutions to finance and operational leaders.Ability to constructively challenge ideas and make decisions.Superior communication skills across functions and all levels of managements.Preferred Qualifications:Master's in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master's degree considered as a plus.Experience with Tableau, Oracle, and Hyperion a plus. Additional InformationThis is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica.
