**Key Qualifications**
- 7+ years of experience leading a team or teams
- Experience managing a software engineering team with a mixture of software developers, systems analysts, and possibly quality analysts
- Ability to partner with a product manager to ensure the team knows current priorities and upcoming roadmapped activities
- Capacity to connect with direct reports and counterparts in Costa Rica, United States, and Hungary
- Focus on ensuring high-quality delivery of features from the team
- Actively engaged in supporting and promoting employee growth
- Ability to identify the skills needed to deliver to the planned roadmap
- Coaches and mentors less experienced staff
**Responsibilities**
- Manage the team execution and delivery with responsibility for results
- Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to employees
- Adopt, adjust, or establish team norms, celebrating employee and team success
- Develop and administer schedules, performance requirements, and may have budget responsibility
- Maintain a team focus on project and business goals that align with functional strategy
- Build and leverage trusting relationships with stakeholders
- Assign, manage and facilitate others to fully complete tasks and goals on time
- Create an environment of innovation and continuous improvement
- Identify talent gaps and advocate for the acquisition of new talent or skills
- Understand the corporate vision/values and be able to explain 1:1
- Ensure high production quality and uptime of the products
