Key Responsibilities
Proactively seeks opportunities to position the Group's data offering in the media
- Build relationships with media outlets
- Ensures media enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Partners and collaborates with communications colleagues to deliver communications plans
- Collaborates with other internal teams, including government relations and regulatory strategy, investor relations, legal and human resources
Leadership & management responsibilities / expertise
- Engages with media contacts, managing reactive and proactive situations
- Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
- Ability to work on specific projects/ campaigns with supervision often to an accelerated timetable
- Work in close partnership with team of comms professionals
- Contribution to thought leadership for the Group
- Adapts to rapidly changing events and environments while accurately judging priorities and keeping track of details
- Works effectively with others and adapts ways of working to achieve a common goal
- Shows ability to come up with new ideas and novel approaches to problems and establish solutions through different methods
Technical / job functional knowledge
- Track record in PR/communications with experience of operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong working use of English (written and verbal)
Business and sector expertise
- Experience with international companies and governments; working with highly regulated businesses that operate in variety of geographic markets
