**Position Summary**
We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified Sr Denied Party Analyst at our Americas Screening Center in Costa Rica. The Sr Denied Party Analyst will assist the DPS Supervisor and Managers with denied party validations.
This position is for the day shift, located at our DPS center in Costa Rica
**Key Accountabilities**
This individual will be key in auditing and ensuring compliance under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) for US import, export and transit transactions.
- Perform Denied Party (DP) match review research and validation
- Update Denied Party tracker
- Work with Customer Service, Sales, Legal Department, the US Government, and Customers to resolve DP escalations
- Research potential violations and work with Operations, Customers, and the US Government on solutions to problems with DP shipments
- Assist in developing and delivering training
- Act as a resource for questions by Operations
- Assist with review and update of import and export compliance policies
- The individual must possess the ability to perform detailed research in multiple internal IT systems, the internet, and hard copy files.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree (business administration; law; regulatory affairs) preferable
- 1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred
- Basic understanding of export controls laws and regulations is prefered including knowledge of the ITAR, FTR, EAR and OFAC
- Basic understanding of import and inbond transfer processes and regulations
- Fluent English and Spanish language is a requirement.
