The Sr Executive Compensation Analyst will be part of the Executive Compensation Team. Reporting to the VP of Executive Compensation, this role assists in the planning, and administration of Moody's global compensation programs with a focus on equity-based plans, and provides support to material preparation for Compensation and Human Resources Committee meetings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in on-going equity plan administration by maintaining and reconciling equity program data with stock plan administration vendor, running reports, and answering stock plan related inquiries
- Conduct analyses in support of a broad range of executive compensation projects, including financial analysis of programs and initiatives, (e.g., long-term incentive design and planning, competitive pay analyses, proxy peer group data, etc.)
- Gather and analyze financial data to model alternative approaches to performance
- and stock-based compensation
- Responsible for tracking the globally mobile employee population with outstanding equity awards, assisting in reviewing tax calculations, and coordinating with payrolls globally
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining tax rates on stock plan administrator system while tracking share transaction activity to ensure that equity transactions (restricted stock vestings and option exercises) are appropriately reported and taxed
- Support global benchmarking process by participating in and analyzing industry survey data to determine competitiveness of total compensation programs
- Assist in preparing and coordinating materials for Compensation Committee meetings, Proxy filings and quarterly financial reports
- Work collaboratively with the Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Tax Departments with respect to regulatory filings, US and international tax issues and proxy disclosure and annual report tables
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, human resources, or related field
- Experience in compensation, finance, or other analytical positions
- Equity based plan administration experience is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to juggle projects and meet deadlines
