**Job Description**:
The Security Partner Assurance role is responsible for oversight and facilitation of key Security Partner service controls, processes and reporting in line with security best practice, in addition to improvement opportunities in the design & effectiveness of the assurance controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Help deliver the continuous improvement of the Security Partner service offering-portfolio, assisting with the delivery of processes and oversight reporting which integrates into the overall EGSO strategy & business values, enabling the 3 Lines of Defense operating model.
- Support communication of the agreed Security Assurance scope, aims and objectives to Security Partners and stakeholders.
- Support and develop the Security Partner Quality Assurance program to drive improvements in the quality of assurance activities and records.
- Manage and develop metrics and measures for Security Partner assurance activities, providing direct support to improve quality and standards.
- Work with Security Partner stakeholders to ensure effective & timely compliance with departmental processes, in addition to support drives for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate quality checks to assure continued efficacy of dept controls as per the security partner service offering-portfolio.
- Identify & support continuous improvement to the security partner service offering-portfolio.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation, material, resources, ensuring these are up to date & effective.
- Assist producing and maintaining content for risk status & or trend reports, used by the dept stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise Risk management & assurance operating within the security risk tolerance.
- Assist with producing and maintaining reports of assurance for departmental process & efficacy of quality checks.
- Assist creation and maintenance of reports relating to service-dept performance as per the security partner service offering-portfolio.
- Identify & support continuous improvement of dept reports required to provide holistic view of the security partner service offering-portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for further automation and provide manual support as required.
**Qualifications**:
- 7+ years of experience in security field of security assessments, security controls, Information security or GRC
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Technical background with prior hands-on experience a plus
- Must be process driven with a strong eye for detail and efficiency - automation opportunities
- Passion and ability to drive and motivate colleagues, and hold them accountable to providing afore-mentioned services
- Strong organisational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good collaboration, relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstratable experience & strong understanding of security risk & controls
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI QSA ISO Lead Auditor or comparable certifications preferable.
