What You Will Achieve
Your expertise and skills will help Pfizer build robust financial controls to manage its finance and accounting practices. You will put in place system controls and determine the operation's consistency with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and processes. You will identify internal control gaps in business procedures, processes or systems, and initiate appropriate remedial actions.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

How You Will Achieve It
- Contribute to the completion of projects, manages own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.
- Participate in projects that require creativity and analytical skills.
- Ensure audit deliverables are provided timely and to a high standard.
- Facilitate and coordinate quarterly Balance Sheet review meetings with markets.
- Actively support team's value proposition by keeping processes aligned with the delivery model and global standard, adhering to our internal controls structures and help identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to team effort and assist co-workers as needed to balance workloads.
- Coordinate resolution of any issues, engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution.
- Effectively coordinate and drive knowledge sharing through a mix of remote interaction and site visits according to business needs.
- Ensure proper documentations on all transactions based on company's policies and procedures in the area of Accounting.
- Prepare basic analysis for external accountants and Corporate Audit and ensure adherence to local accounting regulations.
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Experience in team´s management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowladge in SAP and related tools.
- Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Have
- Witholding tax knowladge for United States and Puerto Rico.
- Master's degree
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Information Technology skills, System Application & Products, Hyperion Financial Management / Financial Data Quality Management Smart View experience
- Experience in dealing with external auditors and overseeing the audit process
- Strong accounting, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
