**Major Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Specific responsibilities in the position but not limited to:
- Conduct Restricted Party Screening and analyze potential matches.
- Conduct Dynamic Screenings
- Conduct end use, end user and anti-boycott screenings with Emerson authorized tools, and release orders on their behalf if required.
- Certificates of Origin review and approval
- Performing audits of import, post payment and export documentation for Emerson entities in Latin America
- Maintain import and export classification databases for entities in Latin America
- Support Trade Compliance Program Specialist on any query or activity assigned (Provide trainings, conduct self-audits, etc.)
- Release Export Holds
- Procedure's maintenance & updates.
- Support the Trade Compliance Program for any Latin America offices in activities such as:
- Archer maintenance.
- Program verification process
- Self-audit process
- Maintenance of the Gatekeepers database and Organizational chart.
- ICQ'S quartely certification.
- Answer any Trade Compliance escalations received from gatekeepers & ITC Users.
**Minimum Education/Knowledge Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Customs administration, Foreign Affairs, or international commerce
- Knowlegde in Customs & Trade Terminology (Import classification, valuation, country of Origin, incoterms, commercial invoice, and freight documentation)
- Good communication both verbal and written in English (intermediate - advanced)
- Portuguese intermediate Level ( plus)
- Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge in Power BI is a plus
- Knowledge in Free Trade Zone is a plus.
**Experience Required**:
1-2 years' experience in Customs administration, logistics, international trade
