About the role:
- The Immigration Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist is part of the Knowledge Group, which has global responsibility for keeping clients and staff informed of the changes in the global immigration and mobility landscape and their impact on clients and the firm. The Immigration KM Specialist supports the country content change controls and information management functions; and follows established processes to develop and maintain Fragomen's Knowledge systems and products, including the Immigration Knowledge Library (IKL) - our core immigration knowledge database - the Fragomen Knowledge Center (FKC) and its associated country documents and products.
How will you make a difference as an Immigration Knowledge Management Specialist at Fragomen?
- Provide administrative support for existing content maintenance processes and procedures associated with various Knowledge products and platforms - including the Immigration Knowledge Library (a SharePoint based platform), country document updates, videos and other derivative products.
- Provide support and ideas to improve content maintenance processes and help mitigate errors and inconsistencies.
- Conduct regular quality control of products and processes to maintain accuracy of content and efficiency of processes by using editing and problem-solving skills.
- Work with technologies such as SharePoint, and Fragomen proprietary systems to efficiently update, review and store country information to support the User/Reader experience.
- Work with the larger Knowledge Group on content updates, system upgrades, and research initiatives, as required, including data collection and evaluation from Subject Matter Experts.
Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Communications, legal studies, international relations, etc.)
- Immigration and/or global mobility experience is desirable
- 2+ years' experience in content management or equivalent preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills and able to convey complex immigration concepts with clarity
- Experience working with Microsoft O365 products, including SharePoint and Excel. Knowledge of Tableau a plus.
- Must have strong organization skills to efficiently manage priorities and quickly respond to urgent requests.
- Demonstrated experience working in a multi-cultural setting.
- Strong editing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to categorize and analyze large scale complex data sets
