With the Sales and Marketing Group exciting transformation and scale efforts we are in need of a motivated, business savvy analyst looking to develop their risk management and partnership skills.
This role will be critical to Intel successful scaling of our rebate activities in the Americas (AMR) Region.
The analyst will initially help scale the close and reporting processes for the Americas Local Original Equipment Manufacturers and Indirect Customers.
They will ensure that we transition effective controls on our rebate payments and accruals so that we can recognize revenue properly.
**The individual taking this role will be responsible for and work with but not limited to**:
- Developing finance rebate skillsets in Costa Rica, and will become a regional expert.
- The analyst will also have the opportunity to work on cross-group rebate related processes, and forward-looking alternatives that deliver optimal financial performance.
- There is heavy engagement with operations in defining processes for rebate complexities in new deals and businesses, driving process efficiencies with rebate managers, improving rebate forecasting, and standardizing the rebates process.
- For the analyst that lands the role there is no shortage of strategic and highly valuable (and visible) work in one of Intel most exciting finance organizations.
- Excellent understanding of risk management and controls; is able to execute plans and interpret and defend his/her assessments through a clear understanding of the risks under consideration.
- Willing to clearly and concisely articulate issues to an unfamiliar, diverse audience and his/her audit team with reasonable assistance from more senior audit team members.
- Uses knowledge of business drivers to provide insight issues identified.
Experience dealing with external auditors and controls partners, implementing process changes and influencing senior managers.
- Good discipline, organization skills and strong action orientation.
- Strong analytical skills, detailed oriented, ability to manage project, systems and processes and manage to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to develop business partnering relationships across different organizational levels and geographical locations, understanding customers' critical agenda and proactively contributed.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting or Finance related.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g.
FPNA, Accounting, Collections).
- Advanced English level in written and verbal communication.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Must have unrestricted-permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
