Quality Technician Shift A

The main purpose of this job is to perform semi-standardized or semi-prescribed tasks that require judgment and problem solving skills. In charge of updating and reviewing standard procedures or equipment. Receive initial instructions and technical advice from direct supervisor. The position is also responsible for supporting the monitoring of compliance with Clean Room requirements during production of shift A. This position also guides in ensuring product quality for dimensional and visual workmanship standards in accordance with the Customer requirements.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Monitores quality indicators
- Identifies and evaluates procedures to ensure the production of quality products for manufacturing.
- Works with measurement tools to ensure product is in accordance with standard prior to launch.
- Conducts studies to understand the capacity of process and / or measurement systems.
- Provides the Quality group with technical support as needed.
- Perform final manufacturing Device History Record (DHR) review at the end of the manufacturing process and product launch.
- Make decisions on how to handle product issues with the operator accordingly and issues related to whether the product is acceptable or not.
- Can write technical reports, registers of standards and rejections and other required quality documentation.
- Set up and run experiments and / or test devices with direction.
- Provides inputs in the evaluation of equipment and processes.
- Willingness to provide and receive input and constructive comments.

**Requirements**:

- A technical degree is required in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, quality or relevant to the role.
- Previous experience in highly regulated manufacturing industries in operational and or technical roles.
- Intermediate verbal and written skills of the English language.
- Database analysis knowledge (Excel, dynamic chart / tables, access, VBA scripts, etc.)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and procedures that are in English. Ability to present information effectively and answer questions from coworkers and managers. o Ability to write detailed reports and other technical documents.
- Proven ability to take accountability, proven skills to work in collaboration with team members and other functional teams-, ability plan and organize and high capacity to communicate effectively.
