Job function summary
The Incoming Quality Assistant I has the responsibility of ensuring that incoming raw materials are released on time by ensuring to check the Certificate of Analysis / Certificate of Conformity supplied by the supplier and that these comply with the specifications in the system. Additionally, to ensure that non-conforming materials handling are following internal Coloplast requirements.
Major areas of responsability
A) Incoming raw materials / intermediates
Sampling, testing of all incoming raw materials and intermediates and compliance to the specifications
Release/Reject the incoming raw materials and intermediates by the relevant specifications (SiC) (check the CoA / CoC or testing) and document and archiving of the results
Collaboration with local Supplier Quality Engineer with regards to material issues, samplings, testing
Daily contact with warehouse; handling of the raw materials arrived with any damaged conditions
B) Raw materials / intermediates under quarantine
Transferring, booking (in E1) the non-conforming raw materials by the corporate and local instructions
Handling the scrap raw materials (E1 / TW / physical scraping) by valid instructions
Store and maintain the materials on defined quarantine locations incompliance with non-conformity management and warehouse instructions
Up to date reports about the defined quarantine locations, regular stock takes of the quarantine locations
C) Expired raw materials / intermediates
Initiate request for prolongation, make or order tests, document the results and decision in the systems by the relevant Coloplast instructions. In case of scrap follow the relevant non-conformity rules
Handling of non-conformities
In regards the points A; B; C due to non-conform raw materials / intermediates open non-conformity reports (NCR) by the Coloplast instructions and make all the necessary warehouse (location) activity.
Daily work in the supplier quality and incoming area, and close collaboration with Warehouse team
On time acting in regards non-conformity handling
Monitoring and maintaining of quarantine locations and ensuring that the area is complying with internal requirements
Releasing / rejecting the incoming raw materials / intermediates supplied to Cartago site
Ensuring correct status of lots in E1, and changing when necessary
Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system

Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position.
Essential qualifications
High school degree
Technical Diploma completed (Production /Quality Related)
Required knowledge, skills & abilities
Knowledge of raw materials and intermediates processes
Knowledge of warehouse processes
Good level of computer skills (Coloplast systems or Equivalent)
English A2 (understanding and reading level)
Preferred qualification
Microsoft Office package, E1, TrackWise, Veeva, SharePoint
Forklift driving
