Team Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Performance Management and Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving process optimization, efficiency improvements, and performance management initiatives across the organization. This role will report to Process Engineering Manager allocated Heredia Plant, Costa Rica.

**Responsibilities**:
- Collect manufacturing data, develop, calculate, and analyze manufacturing KPIs, proposing improvement action plans and sharing local and regional reports.- Lead and implement improvement initiatives with manufacturing teams and ensure their execution.- Develop strategies for continuous improvement, analyze current processes, and identify areas for enhancement.- Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and achieve operational excellence.- Utilize data analysis tools to measure performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish performance goals aligned with organizational objectives.- Provide training and support on continuous improvement methodologies. Sharing expertise through training and leading others in best practices.- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management systems and recommend enhancements.- Maintain quality and safety leadership, advancing a Zero & Beyond safety culture.- Evaluate risk/reward priority of improvement opportunities and advocate for Lean Sigma thinking alignment to Operational Excellent Assessment (OEA).- Optimize manufacturing processes using engineering methods for continuous improvement.- Perform troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and equipment, driving root cause analysis.

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, chemistry, industrial production, mechanics, or related field.- Lean Six sigma certified minimum green belt is required.- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry.- 3+ years of experience in efficiency and continuous improvement management.- Excellent computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite; including advanced Excel skills and Power BI.- Upper intermediate to advanced English.- Good documentation, communication (e.g., written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills.- Basic understanding of statistical techniques- Solid understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering- Solid understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work.- Strict attention to detail.- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Must be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage operators and project stakeholders.- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.- Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Black belt, master's degree related engineering field.
