**What are we looking for?**
At SentinelOne, the People Team is focused on understanding what people need and knowing how to provide it. We're in search of a qualified and resourceful People Generalist to support our People Team in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The People Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us to plan and administer many aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role will support our People Leadership team and employees and report to the Director, People and Culture.
**What will you do?**
- Assist in developing and executing employee-related policies, practices and procedures, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
- Collaborate across the People team organization to drive continuous improvement and support and assist with key projects and initiatives, including metrics, queries, and standard reports
- Respond to employee concerns and provide employee relations guidance to managers
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the People team and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
- Ensure legal compliance of local regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
- Backup on all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into Workday system and auditing for accuracy and compliance
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
- In partnership with People Business partners, guide employee engagement, experience and retention strategies
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies
- Play an integral part in integrating cultural values into day-to-day business activities
- Other duties as assigned
**What skills and knowledge should you bring?**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field
- 4+ years of work experience as a People Generalist
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred), Google Suite and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Must have excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
- Knowledge of federal laws and regulations
