Key Responsibilities:
Latin America or the Caribbean Region, where World Vision International is legally registered to operate.

Organizational Development and Culture
- Leads the design and implementation of a culture plan for RO based on Our Voice results, ensuring the involvement of staff
- Ensure the RO staff receives timely and appropriate communications on the OV plan, internal activities, staff topics, and change management
- Implements Staff Care plan for RO, ensuring constant access to well-being services and specific activities like Staff Care month
- Provides Staff Care as Peer Supporter and ensures that the RO has enough peer supporters
- Implement Change Management actions of Regional Plan with RO in coordination with Business Partner and P&C Regional Director
- Ensures Faith & Development actions in RO in coordination with Regional CI Coordinator

Compensation and benefits
- Manages salaries of Regional Office aligned to WV policies and local law
- Provides Workforce planning information
- Coordinates with Business Partners the update of the salary scale in Costa Rica.
- Updates Sallary & Benefits matrix for all the countries that host RO staff
- Manages staff consultations on Sallary & Benefits

Employee Relations
- Communicates to all Regional Offices staff local norms and World Vision policies related to staff
- Ensures adequate and timely report of staff incidents according to World Vision policies and systems in place
- Attends to and advises on conflicts, problems, and incidents originating in the National Office, under the protocols established by local legislation, the Confraternity, and the National Office - Escalate these to a higher level when appropriate

Recruitment, Selection, and Onboarding
- Ensures adequate staff selection processes, in coordination with the Regional Office area and Talent Acquisition Team
- Implements recruitment processes when needed
- Ensure appropriate Onboarding of new staff
- Innovates and optimizes recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes in Regional Office

Performance, Development, and Talent
- Ensures the implementation and Optimization of Partenering for Perfomance process in the LAC Regional Office: agreements, conversations during the Fiscal Year, and evaluation
- Ensures that all Regional Office staff has development plans in Partenering for Perfomance and these are implemented
- Identifies main topics of L&D for RO staff
- Ensure RO staff takes advantage of WV L&D resources and helps identify external resources when needed
- Coordinates that leaders and staff update talent (career) information in Workday for effective talent development
- Supports Talent identification and development of regional processes by providing Regional Office information

Others:

- Support and advises RO areas and leader in separations processes
- Ensures local laws and WV policies implementations in separation processes
- Ensures compliance with local laws and World Vision policies in Occupational Health and Safety
- Ensures update and implementation of Home Office policy for Regional Office staff.

Regional strategic P&C approach: Staff Care, Learning & Development or other
- Leads the implementation of WV policies and the latest resources in the region
- Ensures the strengthening of internal capacity
- Leads regional plan, strategy, and activities
- Leads the technical unit in the region

Required Professional Experience
- Experience of at least 5 years in P&C processes implementation
- Experience leading Staff Care or L&D strategies
- At least 7 years of experience in the Human Resources Sector

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Business Administration or Similar
- Certification in Staff Care or L&D methodologies,

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Supporting World Vision's Christian identity and commitments, learning for growth and development, and maintaining work/life balance and effectiveness
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Intercultural communication
- All certifications related to RRHH will be a plus

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
- The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time

Language Requirements
- English and Spanish are a must.
