**Your role at Baxter**:
The Market Planner handles inventory at country or cluster level. MPs critically examine and mitigate supply exceptions at country-level and lead and drive communications between the commercial team, customer support, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Network Planners, and fulfillment teams regarding gaps between inventory and customer demand especially in import markets. MPs work with Supply (Network) Planners to mitigate short and medium-term supply and inventory issues and determine strategy for communicating gaps between inventory and customer demand to commercial team. In import scenarios, MPs may lead fulfillment within country nodes, along with driving process optimization and continuous improvement ideas and projects. The role encompasses a high level of risk management and order leadership accountabilities. This Market Planner will be responsible for US and Canada Pharma Portfolio!
**What you'll be doing**:
- Provides analysis to identify opportunities for improved supply utilization, standardization, and process improvement; evaluates findings and makes recommendations.
- Builds and maintains constructive relationships with internal stakeholders, and external partners/suppliers Baxter Canada and Baxter International functions including commercial team, customer support, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Network Planners, and fulfillment teams
- Analyze, establish, and maintain planning inputs, including product lead times, safety stock targets, production minimums, economic order quantities, ROP, etc. and initiate actions to optimize all contributing variables with site production plans to ensure execution of the MRP and urgent customer issues.
- Develop knowledge of production planning to schedule finished goods (FG) production on manufacturing lines.
- This role would be hybrid preferably, but open to remote
**What you'll bring**:
- Bachelor's degree required, business or technical field preferred.
- Minimum three years applicable work experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry background desired.
- Project management experience desirable.
- Computer literate. Software knowledge: Lotus and/or Excel; Word and/or WordPerfect. MRP operating environment. Good presentation and communication skills.
- Experience using Rapid Response is a PLUS!
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members; bilingual desired
