Core responsibilities will include:
- Owns Factory Safety Program End to End.
- Drives projects that will improve factory safety culture and performance.
- Coordinates and proposes safety improvements at virtual factory level.
- Defines and leads factory safety roadmap and strategy.
- Partner with multiple departments to optimize good catch reporting.
- Role models safety behaviors.
- Leads SMBWA schedule and strategy
- Owns multiple safety programs such as: Injury free environment, pre-task planning, fatality prevention, Costa Rica Ministry of Health applicable regulations and committees.
- Discipline, attention to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision
- Capable of handling multiple assignments in a timely manner while meeting assigned deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Team work and influencing skills
**Qualifications**
Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.
**_ Minimum Qualifications:_**
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety Engineer or related field.
Licenciatura or Master degree preferred.
- At least 1 Year of working experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced English level.
- 6+ months of experience in:
Ergonomics, safety risk analysis and job profiling.
Managing complex tasks with short deadlines to meet customer requirements.
Problem Solving Methodologies, Data analysis.
Workinng with multi geographical and multi departmental teams.
